Torit Town Centre Regeneration Project
The Torit Town Council wishes to ensure the long-term development of Torit Town Centre by building central point for the town and creating a facility where the whole community and tourists come together. A place to meet, shop, drink, eat, or simply come for a chat, where everyone of any age is welcome and feels part of what is going on. InvestSouth is to develop a central facility that eludes a business friendly, welcoming and is community focused. Its architectural inspiration will be drawn from the abundance of Eastern Equatoria’s culture and architecture.
Torit Water Shop
The Torit Water Shop will provide clean drinking water to over 100,000 households in Torit County, in South Sudan’s Eastern Equatoria State. The Torit water shop aims to reduce water-borne disease and diarrhoeal episodes by 30%, a result that could save hundreds of children each year.
